Imprinted concrete sealing
Imprinted concrete is seen more frequently these days on driveways and patios as homeowners look for more durable surfaces that need less maintenance than block paving.

Very often all that is required is to clean the imprinted concrete and then coat with a high quality concrete sealer. This is for imprinted concrete that has only been down for a few years as the sealer will restore the original finish. If the concrete has been left for many years and the surface has faded badly and lost colour, we would recommend a more thorough coating of sealer.
Imprinted concrete cleaning and sealing stages -
- Remove oil stains with oil remover
- Jet wash the concrete surface and leave to dry out
- Apply colour tint with the sealer if necessary
- Apply additional coats of imprinted concrete sealer
- Make good expansion joints with mastic (if necessary)
The imprinted concrete should be re-sealed every few years to keep it looking good and in optimum condition.
